Services
Repeat Prescriptions
Certain kind of regular medication may be given by “repeat prescription”, only with prior approval of the Doctor. These prescriptions should be requested at least 24 hours in advance. When requesting a repeat prescription, please give the name(s) of the item(s) required, this can be done using the re-order slip from your last prescription which you can hand in to reception or post in. Alternatively you can telephone you request in after 10.00am Monday to Friday If you wish to have a prescription posted out to you, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope to enable us to return it to you and remember to allow time for the post.
Unfortunately we are not in a position to respond to requests for prescriptions made by email and all prescription requests must be made as directed above.
Sick Line
If you require a sick line, this is arranged after you have self-certified for the first seven days. You should arrange an appointment with a Doctor to obtain a sick line.
Private Services and Fees
A list of non-NHS examinations, letters, certificates, report and other miscellaneous items and the fees they incure is on display in the waiting room, and at reception. If you need a special examination, e.g. for fitness to undertake sport, pre-employment, HGV or elderly drivers, this will be undertaken during a special appointment, and a fee will be charges.
Please let the receptionist know that you are coming for these reasons as extra time will be allotted to you for these examinations.
