Flu Vaccine

Who do I see?

If you are eligible for a free flu vaccine you will be contacted advising you where to go.

Advice:

We regret will not be carrying out flu vaccinations within the surgery premises this year.

If you are if you are aged 18 – 64 years in an at risk category you will be eligible for a free flu vaccination. Arrangements are currently being put in place  and you will be contacted between mid October to December advising you where you can go to receive your free flu vaccination. Further information about flu vaccine available from NHS inform.  Please wait till you are contacted in the coming weeks

If you are over 65 years  you will receive a letter from the Health Board giving you an appointment time  and advising you where to attend. If this does not suit you, you can phone 0141 201 4180 or email [email protected] to rearrange the time or venue, only for over 65 years. Patients in this category are being invited by date of birth and in alphabetical order, so it is likely that patients from the same household will be given appointments on different days.  If a patient does attend outwith their scheduled appointment slot (for example, accompanying their spouse or partner for their appointment) they will not be vaccinated as clinics are supplied only with enough vaccine to cover the number of slots at each clinic.

If you are pregnant please contact your midwife to arrange flu vaccination, this will NOT be done in the surgery
